I think I have five copies.  I haven't counted but it is more than three...I could have more.

Hey, we  have to have multiple backup copies to feed the obsession.  What if a freak storm comes and demolishes many of them at one time?  My advice is tape em, tape em, tape em, and then stash them in various places in your home.  You know, I am thinking of getting one of those safety deposit boxes....not for jewels or cash but for CAT...

Man, I am so mad.  I was all hyped up to watch Cat this morning.  I got offline, went and fixed me a big cup of cappuccino, got into my favorite chair and turned the television to VH1.  Guess what?  NO CAT....NO CAT....NO CAT... I was so mad.  Hall & Oates were on....I like them but they are not CAT.  I don't know what happened.  The newspaper TV guide said Cat was to be on at 11:30 am...est...

Wahhh! I haven't even seen this special yet and it drives me crazy because I've read so many good reviews on it! Does anyone know if VH1 is still airing it? I've checked their site and there isn't any close airdate now.

I hate begging, but if anyone has an extra copy (I can see quite a few of you do! LOL) or can make me a copy,I would be SO GRATEFUL! I'll more than happily pay for shipping or the tape or whatever.

Also,does anyone know if there are any Cat videos out there I can buy? I've been checking big places like the Virgin MegaStore and Best Buy (which always have Cat stuff) and I can't seem to find any... of course, I don't know if any exist.

VH-1 airs all the other BEHIND THE MUSICS on a regular basis, but NOT CAT!! This PISSUES US OFF! SAo many times they have promised us to re air the show! YES, You see, I keep sending many copies to MES AMIS who don't have it, and I've run out of BACK UP COPIES! I still have the original first airing, BUT I NEED TONS OF BACK UP! Hey, at one time, I must have had about 25 copies! Yeah with three VCRS it was easy! But now, I am down to ONE VCR!

Anyway, Lissette, since we are almost neighbors, maybe you can come over to my place one afternoon when I have the day off, and we can CAT OUT, if you know what I mean! you will see TRUE OBSESSION at work! LOL And YES, we can watch Cat's BEHIND THE MUSIC!!

Thanks for the offer Vivian, sounds too much fun! It sucks that I have to head back to school in Sarasota nex week (gosh, I can't believe it's already NEXT WEEK). Anyhow, I think I remember reading on an old board post that they aired the episode sometime during June so MAYBE they'll show it again soon!

Oh yeah, Ebay has WONDERS! I don't think I've looked closely enough for VHSs though... they should come out with a Cat DVD set, I'd be the first one to buy it! Or second, or third, or fourth knowing you guys.

The only VHS video release you can buy is called 'Cat Stevens-Tea for the Tillerman live', it's a concert performance in an LA TV studio in 1971. It is a slightly subdued gig, with it being in a studio, and the audience is polite but attentive. This is an intimate rather than dynamic gig, but it's all we have (officially) at the moment.

There's an added bonus at the end of the video with the full 'Teaser and the firecat' animated cartoon, which , I believe, used to be shown on one of Cat's tours on a screen above the stage before the concert began.

The BTM documentary is really worth getting hold of, I only saw a copy myself this year after a fan kindly copied one for me. Mine will only play on UK videos, but I'm sure one of the fans in the US will help you out.

Well as I said, I only have one working VCR at the moment, but Lissette lives pretty close to me! She is welcome to come over to my place one afternoon and watch it with me! As soon as I get a second VCR again, I will be more than happy to make her a copy! And I also have some Cat concert footage! We can have our own little CAT PARTY!
