Have any of you noticed how strange it is to be chatting with another Cat fan, and you both end up saying the exact same thing at the exact same time? This has happened to me on quite a few different occasions with a few different cat fans. It really give you a feeling of a certain connection in a way. It makes you wonder if we aren't connected in a way? I know Cat was very sesitive in matters such as these. As he thought many events in his life were predestined or a matter of fate. Makes you wonder, why so many Cat fans seem to have that very same feeling. That some of us feel a certain connect, not only to Cat but other Cat fansl? Sorry if this sounds silly, I just wondered if any one else has noticed this as well, or am I destined for the looney bin?

You're not looney, Christine. I've noticed the same thing for quite a while. The Cat Fans seem to be connected by personality and temperment and intelligence and sensitivity, creativity, etc. etc. We've been brought together by the enduring music of CS and YI. We feel comfortable with each other and of course have a lot in common. I think for the most part, Cat Fans are decent, caring people. It's a wonderful feeling to have so many friends that share the admiration and deep feelings for the brilliant CS.

You definitely are not crazy unless all of us are crazy. Vivian and I always joke around about being 'twins separated from birth'. I think that the true Catfans, not those who just come to the sites, but the ones who truly are devoted to Cat, seem to have some kind of connection. It is so amazing how there are so many talented, kind-hearted people who connect and become lifelong friends through these sites. No you are definitely not crazy, you are just one of us.

Yes, Christine, I definitely have to agree with you ~~ especially since you and I constantly do that when we are chatting away!!! Sometimes it is downright SPOOKY!! It is so true though! I have known some of you for only a short period of time, a little over a year, and I talk to you each and every day (ahhh, for the most part) and I feel like I've known you for a lifetime ............ I definitely value the friendships I have made here at Majicat in particular and it gives me a very contented feeling inside when I sit back and reflect. Cat is the main bond that we all have with each other and I do honestly believe that if you are a true follower of Cat and Yusuf also, you are of a kind and gentle spirit and it is so easy to find those same kindred spirits amongst you here! flower flower flower Love you guys, Sue flower wiggle flower

Although I don't do the chat thing, I definately agree with you all. There is a sameness of spirit among a subset of the fans that frequent these places. No, I wouldn't put every single website user into that category... I truly believe some people are fans of the actual websites themselves, not so much of CS/YI (geeshh...sorry for the poor grammar....feeling a little verbally challenged at the moment) To each his own, not trying to be critical of anyone's interests or motivations. But there's a small percentage of users that I just click with...hard to explain but it's something that just strikes a chord within me.
Interesting!!

I've noticed too how I end up saying the same thing as someone else at the same time in chat. When that happens, I call it a "jinx", an old term from childhood. I don't know if it's because of some subconscious psychic connection between Cat fans, or what. Maybe Christine is just a "jinx queen".

Pretty cool feeling isn't it . It was like that in Orlando in Feb of 2001 when a number of us met. It was as if we had known each other for years. Those of you who got together in the Ohio Catfest, I'm sure you experienced the same thing. I think it's great!! ...kim

Kim, when I walked into that cabin last summer at the Catfest I felt like I had known those people for years. It was like a family reunion without the fights...LOL
And I feel as if I know Yusuf. He just seems to be on the same wavelength as the rest of us.
