Terri, mine faded a little bit, but not much. I try to avoid putting it into the dryer. Now, since I know how to make transfers I don't worry about it. And I wear my two Cat shirts a lot. I think Hamdi has been 'desensitized'.. And gardening and Cat...what a fab combo. Love, A'isha

Sanna/Vivian, you may want to try Lissettes suggestion with your photograph. I'll gladly help you to place it into a JPG if you wish. But taking it to a photo shop as Lissette suggested, may be much cheaper for you in the long run (considering Airmail isn't cheap) and it could be safer. Let me know what you decide. Christine Christine, as I'm an awful pc-dummy, I feel quite uneasy with all that cyberspace technology and would really prefer to send the photo by mail. Looking through my old music magazines, I had found a couple of Cat advertisements ("Foreigner") and an article with a photo of Cat (1973) and thought I could make copies and send them, too, together with my photo. Love, Sanna

The secret is to turn the t shirt inside out before putting it in the machine!! Wash in COLD water, and hang it up to dry!!

Vivian, You look so pretty in that picture. I bet if Cat had seen you he would have noticed you. You know, you don't look much older now than then. I guess Cat keeps you young.
I love seeing my friends at young ages too.
Love ya, A'isha

Vivian, what a cute picture! My, that is a rather mature hairstyle for a 16-year old. At 16, I was into the Marcia Brady hairstyle...not entirely successfully, mind you!

:oVivian,my honest thought when I watch the picture was.... 'Wow! Vivian had succeed on losing weight! How slender she is! I must ask her the method. Oh!I'd like to be the same!' Yes,I really felt so,and later I noticed you were 14 at that time. Before keeping shape was not so difficult, but now unnecessary fat is easy to put on..... I'm fighting against... Anyway it's a very good photo and T-shirt. Thank you for showing. Peace,Yukas

This is my 'Cat reference photo' ... ... the end of December 1979, one month before my 20th birthday. I'm just going to play side two of the "Teaser" LP. In front of the radio recorder you can see the album cover. chenevey.smugmug.com/photos/204848/204848-Thumb.jpg[/img]... while listening to Cat's music shortly afterwards. Thank you so much, Christine, for your help!!! Love, Sanna

Sanna, you look so much like my husband's niece, Khuloud. She is quite a beautiful lady. I think you must have been doing the same thing I was at that time...LOL For some reason I thought you were about 22 years old. I didn't know you were around my age. See, you are young at heart. Love, A'isha

awwww these pics are adorable! i wish i had one to share... my best friend kim and i painted the cover of tea for the tillerman on my bedroom wall when i was fourteen. a few years later when i had moved out my brother took the room and wood panelled the wall several years after that, and after sort of losing touch with kim (who introduced me to cat) she and her husband ended up buying my old house! when they ripped the panel down off the wall there was the artwork we had worked on so lovingly all those years ago! she called me when she found it and told me she had taken a picture of it to show me before they painted the walls over again. sadly, i never made it to see her and the picture. i really wish i had it now!!

Hello A'isha, Christine, Colleen and Vivian, I'm glad you like my photos! Cherished memories! It would be so interesting to see more photos of all of you! But only if it isn't too much trouble! A'isha, didn't you talk about a photo showing you and Barbara with your Cat CDs in 1989?! I'd love to see that photo! Colleen, wouldn't it be possible to try and contact your friend regarding the photo? It would be so nice to see your "Tillerman" painting! Love, Sanna

Colleen, it is sad that they had to paint over that painting. Who knows, maybe in 100 years someone may discover your artwork and say, "Hey, this would be great to keep for my kids." I would love to see what it looked like as well.
Sanna, I will have to scan the photo and see if I can post it. I think I need a photo host so that I can upload the pic. This is the only site in which I don't know how to upload pics.
Love, A'isha

Okay, the link works. It is an old picture from around 1990 of me reading the insert to "Tea For The Tillerman" and Barbara (JamieJ) showing off The Rembrandts.
