Darn, I guess that experiment failed too.

I remember taking the album and to a t-shirt shop at a mall and they made a copy of the picture on the inside of his face (the one we all stared at) and put it on a T shirt for me and everybody wanted one.

That Teaser shot was pretty much a regular in T Shirt shops. That's where I got mine the first time. NICE memories.

Hi, Im new here to the site. A good idea would be to make a Cat Stevens shirt online. And you can choose whatever Cat Stevens picture you want on it. I think its around $20. The Tshirt itself would be created in a printing press machine thingy.

I did have a couple of T shirts back in the Cat days and don't know where that have got to. So here are the ones I have. THIS IS A YUSUF ONE.  THIS ONE MICHELE DRAW AND GAVE ME.  THIS ONE WAS GIVEN TO ME ON THE CONCERT NIGHT FROM THE CAT MOBILE BY THE NICE MAN SORRY CAN NOT REMEMBER HIS NAME. HE GAVE ME AN EXTRA LARGE.  |

The t-shirts some of us were lucky enough to get had labels and hangtags that said "Yusuf's Bazaar" on them. The t-shirt I got was the Redroom, and the same one (but in a different color) is pictured on the site when you go the Bazaar. |

Vicki - I was obsessed with his jacket during the show because of that lining! I have already decided that if I am gainfully employed in the fall, I will be buying a brown corduroy jacket and having orange lining put in! I love it! You are so correct - Cat was never afraid of color. He did the 70s proud with some of his clothes, didn't he? Helen - I like Vicki's idea. I think you need to try to get the gig as Yusuf's t-shirt model! |

Kind of an odd irony since they eliminated my position and I only have a few weeks left. They get rid of me and then involve me in this work that makes me work 11-12 hours a day. Go figure... |

Jane, I think they realize what a great employee you are, and there won't be anyone to take your place, so they are taking advantage of your expertise before you leave. I'm sure you won't be left without a job for too long, because good, hard, organized, and honest workers, as yourself, are hard to come by these days.

Can't get it in my head Regii Regii - thank you so much for your concern; you are so sweet.  I still have the job. My last day was supposed to be June 30 of last year. I no sooner got back from London last year that they asked if I would stay through July and I did. Then they asked if I would stay through August and I did. Then they asked if I would stay through November and I did. Then they asked if I would stay through January of this year and I did, then April, and then they finally realized they needed someone to do exactly what I had been doing the past year, so a couple of weeks ago they officially gave me the project manager role I had been performing ever since I was eliminated. Crazy! It's funny though, because I always somehow knew that something would work out, either with my employer or with the client we work with (my former employer.) I decided that I would worry about being unemployed when it happened and not before. I knew I had to treat my current employer as a potential future employer and my strategy of working hard and proving my value worked. In the meantime I kept living my life and never stopped. In November I asked my boss if they were going to extend me again "because I have a trip to London to plan." NOTHING was going to keep me from seeing Yusuf with all of you again! My priorities were VERY clear: Yusuf and my Majicat friends first, worrying about my job second. Glad it worked out the way it did. But I forgot to get the brown corduroy jacket last fall... |
