Not sure if there is a thread for this question already...if so let me know! What is your favourite song from the MAJIKAT DVD?
Mine is Miles From Nowhere and Lady D'Arbanville
Cheers

I have to agree, Cats performance of Tuesdays Dead is one of his best. The energy he puts into it is fantastic.
You can almost see why that string broke during the song.

Ok, I've watched it again, and yes - the strings breaks lol I have watched it a million times and never noticed that!
My fav Tuesday's Dead performance is from his Granada Out Front concert 1971 - (in the archive section of Majicat Tour) Awesome!

Oh YES, I LOVE the way Cat flubs the word "irrelivent" prior to the Granada version of Tuesdays' Dead. He's just so adorable there.
Peace,Vivian

At the time of this performance, do you think Cat looked thinner than in previous years?

I think I agree with 1976 - 'Tuesday's Dead when the D string broke and he continued was pretty cool'
That was an excellent performance. The encore of Wild World was great too.

'Tuesady's Dead' is mostly a live song to me, and he really enjoyed it there, I love Gerry's drumming! Well, 'Two Fine People' is my choice here. I miss the orchestra bit quite a lot, but it really fills my veins with love.

I think Miles is the best performance on that disc. Banapple gas is pretty slick too.

'The King Of Trees' was my favorite from Majikat, although I have many near favorites. On the archives section of Majikat, I don't think he can get any cuter then when he was dressed in black, sitting cross-legged on the floor, playing the guitar and singing 'Father and Son'. The closeups of his face were just so beautiful. Whenever I watch this DVD, I repeat this segmen t several times. Just love that face! I also love watching him sing 'Maybe You're Right', from the same archive section. The singing is so powerful; love to see his changing facial expressions and the hair never looked better. Sure is fun to delve into the totally superficial for a change. Thats what made me a Cat fan back in the day. I still enjoy revisiting it once in a while. A sweet indulgence like the occasional hot fudge sundae.

Gotta go with Tuesdays Dead, but not the one ur probably thinking. In the archive section he also does this song to a much smaller audiece and i really like the emphasis on percussion.
