I can't imagine Yusuf being so greedy/ selfish...

Nor can I; he might not be doing it to be selfish though he might have a higher purpose.

The rumor is that ABC retained the rights to the In Concert series. The performers do not own the copyrights of their performances. So I doubt Yusuf has it.

I'm pretty sure that Yusuf doesn't have it, but someone does.

And that someone whoever it is should be more friendly and hand the rights back over to Yusuf or the fans

That's my whole point. This person is sitting on a goldmine, if he or she would only share it.

True and they'll charge through the nose to release the rights too.

ok, the Teaser Cartoon bit is also up on youtube; I've placed the link in my old post on page one.
funny though, only now I've recognized that it's from that show; I had it for years on that KCET PBS TV 1971 video and always wondered where that clip was taken from...

What a lovely treat to see these clips on youtube! After only hearing this concert it is wonderful to finally see some footage. Would sure make a nice dvd for my collection if we had the whole show... Jackie

I'm still patiently or perhaps impatiently waiting for the only song from ABC setlist not to be seen "The Boy With The Moon and Star On His Head"

I tried your links, but unfortunately some of them are removed. Therefore I posted those both links once again!! Maybe for some newest members. ;D ;D (Puh, English is a little bit difficult after 25 years out of school)!! Wow, this would be a dream to see "The Boy With The Moon and Star On His Head" .............

Hi All
A Cat fan from way back. I am tidying out my closet and came across a poster I purchased some years ago for this very concert. I see it's picture of the page petitioning for the moon & star concert to be released.
It's in a protective plastic wrapped, no wrinkle, ready for framing. I was trying to find out more about the concert to post on ebay or our local auction site, and while googling found you guys.
Long story short, you are welcome to make me an offer for it. I live in New ZEaland so please take account that postage will be a little higher than if I was in Europe or the US. I have a paypal account and would be happy to transact that way. If no one is interested, that's cool, I will go ahead and list on ebay in a few days if I dont here from any of you.
My email is xlsports@orcon.net.nz

Tuesday' Dead is one of my all time favourites. I love the lyrics.

Have one enigma... did anybody noticed that his dressing on Foreigner Suite is completely different, on all other songs he is in blue shirt... so, maybe I missed something... is it possible that the original concert was much longer, and that they broadcast just a part of it, or is it combination of two nights/concert or Cat simply change his shirt during the concert?

Hello Crobarbie, Foreigner Suite was Cat's last song of the evening. When he came back on stage after the intermission, meaning after the Linda Ronstadt and Dr John cover songs, Cat had changed his shirt. It was all in the same night though. Christine

Speaking of which, where were you all 35 years ago, let's say around 11PM?? I was 8 and asleep! The rights holder for this concert keep missing opportunities to release it. The 35th anniversary would have been a perfect time wouldn't you say?

As I've said before, SOMEONE has it, but isn't saying. Peace,Vivian

Let's see, 35 years ago I would have been 17. On a Friday or Saturday night? hmmmm.... well, let's just say I was NOT in front of the television. Though I really wish I had been!! joni...

I remember seeing this concert. I used to always watch the ABC in concert series. I think I was staying at my parents' house in upstate New York. Big Linda Ronstadt fan at the time. Love Dr John too, saw him at the Jazz and Heritage Festival in New Orleans in the 80's.
