this last photo must have been around the time of "The European Tour" ..had a nice hat to go with that .. yes ...hands are beautiful too.. piano and artists hands ... x to me He's neverchanged .. still looks the same and more so than ever .. the aura ... open and aqua beigebrown

Would it be possible not to post oversized pictures on these boards. It can be very annoying for us who have lower screen resolution. Thank you.

odeon....that beautiful large pic of Cat gazing to the side wearing that lovely shirt that you posted a couple of posts back.... Had it on my screen at work (just for relaxation). ....and a colleague remarked...Oh who's that...is it your son!!?  Well some have mentioned a passing resemblance between me and Cat in the past ...prob mainly due to my hair cut...but SON Yikes!!! Didn't know whether to laugh or cry!!  OMG!!...don't quite know HOW to feel about THAT comment LOL...'scept that maybe nows the time to put my Cat to bed and take up solely with Yusuf!! ;D Hmmmm Anyway I still love the pics....amazing array... TY ....keep them coming...cropped or uncropped .....

Odeon, first welcome to majicat. It's always nice to see our majicat family growing, but even better when I see young members joining in. Appreciate you sharing your photos, it seems you have a great collection, some I haven't seen before. Did your parents introduce you to Cat/Yusuf music, or did you discover his music on your own? Love to know what your favourite CS/YI album is. Hope one day you'll have the opportunity to see Yusuf perform. Again welcome, looking forward to seeing you here more often. |

I do believe littleone that is one of my fave photos now of Steve Cat Yusuf . It shows his spirit and bounce .. and he def looks like a flower child!!!ty for sharing and thanks odeon.. I have them both now.. and frankly Yusuf still looks like that .. the curls are just being a bit trained right now ...

Precious picture of our boy - eyes, smile, and persona are identical today! @sabina - yes, it is true - we are old enough now to be that boy's mother or grandmother (soon enough)! That young man is gone, but his music and beauty remain in the part of us that is still young. Its remembrance brings joy! ... the young man is not gone far from it !!! did you read his last interview?? I feel once we lose our young person which is our essence we might as well curl up in the corner and succumb to the vinegar ... I want the Honey ...! perhaps yusufs haircolor has changed in the photos but if you listen carefully he is there .. alll there .. I havent changed ... I'm still the young one minus the drugs and alcohol .... so I feel yusuf is that personality as well ..you know what I mean yikes as far as being his mom its imposssible he is only a few years older... banish that thought! ;D  |

We are only as old as we let ourselves be. despite the physicality of age. I cant find the photo off hand, but I like the photo on the cover his Very Best of album...the one where he is wearing the brown leather jacket and sorta looking up. That photo resonates calmness and a sense of searching. Anthony |

Odeon - I love your intro to Cat story! I'm still amazed (though I should not be) at what an impact he has had on so many lives, and how profoundly connected most of us are to his music... such a testament to his talent/gift. I think he "gets it" and I think he knows how devastating it was to so many when he disappeared.
If he really wanted to make it up to us...he'd tour the U.S (just kidding, just kidding - I'm gonna simmer down now, I promise)
