First concert review by one young journalist : 2 stars of 5 www.expressen.se/noje/musik/1.2429015/dahlbom-cat-stevens-har-inget-klos- and here is it with a help of "Google translate" Dahlbom: Cat Stevens has no bite Lead: The atmosphere can not complain. Neither the audience, hits, sound or voice. There is really only artist Cat Stevens, it is wrong. Is "How much better"-weeks already booked this year? If someone backs out, I have an old man with a Swedish connection to throw in the Gotland house. Cat Stevens has an interesting life story and is a really good storyteller. Furthermore, the Cat of course written a lot of songs that other artists like to put his teeth in. The last thing is the problem with Cat Stevens. He himself has always been too weak and evasive as an artist to be included among the truly great, despite huge successes for a long time ago. In his hands bobbing songs by without one really cares. Soft folk-pop of soft-hearted. The first hour culminates with a yxig music story of the big screen full of snömos animations. Cat curls with well-known hits but save everything for hours two and three. It's sort of like watching a football game where all goals are trimmed away. After the break is not much better. Many new songs, very easily forgotten. Only after about two hours, he picks up the big guns, way too late. Someone should stow on the track list in the future. But in a nice hat, he is at least a cool cat, Cat. By Anders Dahlbom Facts: Yusuf / Cat Stevens Hovet, Stockholm Attendance: 8718th Who: 62-year-old Stevens, who now calls himself Yusuf Islam, had a successful career in the 60 - and 70's. "Moon Shadow" and "Wild World" are two of his classics. What: The only show in Scandinavia, and premiered for the first European tour in 36 years. Best: The reception of hits. And that Yusuf forget mobile in the pocket. Worst: newly written "My People" is the most woody protestlåt I heard. Question: Has anyone concert in music history has won a half-hour break? Posted May 8, 2011 at 13:30 Reader's commenst on article: I was not there himself, and is not a fan of him (not like him), but really all the artists to stand and jump on stage, running around in front of the crowd and stand and tjoa for it to result in a good concert? The answer is no. One does not go and see Cat Stevens to see him stand and make frivolous (I think). Furthermore, you can be among the major without having been on drugs and rennet all the time.

It's a good thing I don't care about reviews... I don't know what concerts he has seen recently, but every one I have been to in the last couple of years has had a 20-30 minute break. I choose to disregard him and his review

Leonard Cohen also had 30 minutes breaks for his last tour... and it was the most amazing 3-hour concert I'd ever been to.

I choose to disregard him and his review That review is aweless. Half hour break is more than O.K. It is opportunity for audience to gather impressions from the first part of the Show and get some beer. And to fell the atmosphere and to stay longer. And for Cat to take some rest and then to make the second part even better. I only hope that Moon shadow musical is not so long like in Dublin where he got some whistles. When I look at the setlist for me it's just perfect. But as all of you I like all the songs. Maybe some songs are missing. But this is the question of personal favorites.

So funny about the cell phone. I wonder what's his ringtone? Mine plays Dog/Doughnut. Maybe he'd like me to share my ringtone with him.

Love your photographs Martina. The concert sounded wonderful. I so wish I could have attended at least one of these concert. Just keep all the info, pictures, youtubes. coming. Being a concert on-lurker, I am green with curiosity and envy.
Oh and I love the photograph of Yusuf at the piano with the hat. Reminds me of his younger years.. He always wore hats back then. I always loved that hat in the CB@4 record album.
Be safe everyone... and have the time of your lives at the concerts!!!
