I'd love to hear 18 minutes of Foreigner Suite, but I'm sure not everyone feels the same. 18 minutes is a serious chunk of time when you've come to hear your favorite tunes during what could be a once in a lifetime show. I'll take whatever morsels of gold he throws our way.
Foreigner is one of those songs you either LOVE, or not so much (I think).

In my opinion, Foreigner Suite is one of the most enjoyable 10+ minute songs there are. As a prog lover, I adore Thick As A Brick by Jethro Tull but I find The Foreigner Suite to be on the same level. I've uploaded some new videos. lailethob, many thanks, just checked your videos and they were just amazing. 5+ minutes of 'Foreigner Suite' was more than I ever expected to hear!!! Not bad at all from a mobile phone. What a great night for you and your dad. I think it must have been all the more special for your dad having his son sharing this great concert. I wish you many more. Speaking of Jethro Tull, I saw them live in Australia in the early 70's, it may have been the same year I saw Cat Stevens, and one of the main reasons I went was, to hear them perform 'Thick As A Brick', it was the highlight of the evening. I must say you have exceptional taste in music for a young lad.

It was quite special to watch the concert as father and son, especially when he performed Father And Son You are very lucky to have seen Jethro Tull in their prime. Cat Stevens toured Australia 1972 and 1974, if I'm not mistaken, and I think Jethro Tull were putting out great records at that time! TAAB was indeed one of them =)
