Thats all the photos that I can share that are worthy of a look, other came out very blurry or dark. I will remember this very fondly as my first Cat/Yusuf's Concert, I hope there will be many more to come. It was a special night seeing a special man listening to special music. Peace to all the Majicaters and non-majicaters alike. Peace, Catchem. Attachments:

@martina, I think for a compact camera, you have nothing to be jealous about. Your photos, like Bud says, are professional quality. I think it has more to do with the eye behind the lens. I wholeheartedly agree about the eye behind the lens! Great pix Martina, some are the best I've seen...bar none! I 'third' what Vicki and Richina said, Martina! ;D -Bud

[quote author=hyacinth board=muinich thread=3804 post=62537 time=1305936598 The years that Yusuf spent out of the lime-light with Fauzia nuturing their chlidren produced this. We missed him, but he made the right choice.
[/quote]
Since watching the 1994 Thomas Gottschalk with Yusuf,I have thought that he did the exactly right thing for his and his family's life. He was able to have a pretty normal family life-think of all the others from that era and their personal lives played out in the papers.

I was also at the concert in Munich! It was fantastic! Jane, your pictures are so much better than mine! It was great to meet you-it's so true, only other fans of Yusuf understand the excitement of seeing him perform. The crowd loved him. (how could they not!) let's hope for concerts in the US now!

Hello aurarisma, Yes I am sorry too. Like i said in one of my posts after the concert that the only dissapointment was not meeting any majicatters. I couldnt check my emails before I left for Munich due to lectures and so didnt know you left a message at my Inbox. Yes it was my first concert and I loved it. Its a dream come true, more than a dream actually and I want it to reoccur again and again, well dont we all? ;D!. Currently I am in Paris taking a Laser training course and will be here until sunday after which I will return to Germany where I am an exchange student from UK until September. O how would I have loved it if this training school were at the time of Yusuf's Paris concert. But sometimes its not what God has in mind for you. You would be surprised how long I waited to go to a Yusuf concert (ever since I became his fan in 2004 when I was 15) or maybe not ;D . When he was touring around UK, i could have gone to each and every concert but I didnt due to university, but when in Germany I had a hunch that Yusuf will tour there and I kid you not, I sensed some good new was imminent and when I checked my email and there it was, news that Yusuf is touring Europe and is stoping in Germany , I booked immediately. Patience pays off in the end ! I would love to go to all future Yusuf concerts but its in God's hands, but when I will I wont miss the chance to meet the lovely majicat family. All the best and have a wonderful week. Peace, Catchem.

According to Yusuf who made a very brief comment on his official site, the concert in Munich was "excellento". ;D Nice to finally read Yusufs thoughts. I think it must have been the great response he got at the end. FOUR songs for the encores!!! crobarbie you are a hard one to please, but I'm happy that there was an unexpected highlight for you ;D I hope that does not mean if you could, you woud not go to Yusufs next stop Holland? Of course not. ;D I think it was a memorable night for all. this concert was sooo excellento it had a nice crescendo!!! I keep thinking about the tender version of "Thinking about you" the spontaneous "If you want to sing out" the list could go on with me you know ! having done shows /tv since I was 4 I've come prepared and its the git when the city or tv audience brings their vibe that makes the formula for the joy ... I noticed that there werent that many vids on you tube of this concert ... the audience was seriously spellbound...I felt it and watched yusuf unleash them from applauding so with ettiquette lol to unleashed childlike love ..he must have felt and seen it as well.. looking out at the audience and getting the magnetic vibe.. I can only hope that his team might consider putting out dvds possibly all the concerts out .. 'well why why not' ..in one package to really experience the whole tour like as HE did you know ?? it would b a hot selll I know or sell them as singular nights... it wouldnt cost much to do and the gift for the buyer would be to no ends!!! What do you think ?even the Royal Albert Hall that everyone is still talking about wouldnt cost much to put out and it would sell.... x I think there must be a liscensing glitch/blip there with not releasing that one ...mm... peace xoxo joy xoxoxo

'GOOSEBUMPS FOR ALL GENERATIONS"
About two hours went Yusuf Islam in Munich's Olympic Hall with his fans on a entertaining musical journey through time. At the end of the concert knew the euphoria of the Star no boundaries. UDO EBERL Munich. More than 40 years, it is ago, a certain sang Cat Stevens not only the "Lady d'Arbanville" but with an ironic undertone the possible future as a "pop star". He is such as Today, without question, although he is clean externally, and a full beard turned gray, the stereotype does not meet wants. Already with the first song "Lilywhite", which the 62-year-old Briton Steven Demetre Georgiou alone celebrated with the acoustic guitar lies down the veil of oblivion visitors over the cabin layout, the Olympic Hall. Forget the interviews in which after a near-death experience Muslim convert Cat Stevens not always bad in the stoning of blasphemers could find, or on a List appeared, the Salman Rushdie's death sentence supported. Of course: Do not forget the times in which the guitar is a tool the devil and the GEMA fees tolerated in the account Were dirty money. Why should Cat Stevens not even capable of learning and be adaptable. And Yusuf, after 35 years Tour abstinence enjoy again; dieWirkung of his songs to the audience, the almost tangible collective, intergenerational Goose pimples with "Father & Son" or the almost in a melancholy pathos drowned "Morning Has Broken". Sometimes he even plays with his audience agrees, three chords of "Moon Shadow" in order to The storm then grinning with joy a "not yet" turn off. Not everything is perfect on this wonderful concert evening. To fantasy- kitschy, the large format Projections in the background to are played really short strong songs. Time must be for the shortage serve the medley format, times the sketch of a search for meaning- Musicals with his hits, the The singer plans. But ultimately There are pictures in my head that one Concert by Cat Stevens on the emotional Experience can be great. The memories of the cult film "Harold & Maude," the first Love the guitar course at times, Flower Power was still where. Yusuf offers much more than sentimental songwriting. The pioneer for many acoustic guitar heroes the storm the charts today, can with the seven-piece band also really rock. "Matthew & Son is "the fat-orchestrated Surprise Pops, great is the live version of "Remember The Days Of The Old School Yard ". The master switches to guitar, sitting at the keyboard, but at first place, he sings. Maybe two or three grades lower than in the 70s and breathless, but well touching and strong timbre. In more recent songs like "Heaven" Yusuf recalls with his sound colleagues Eric Clapton. Popsmart and mature with countryeskem Impact may seem, and the rough slide riffs of electric guitar act not placed. With "Boots and Sand" is the once Yusuf reported from the USA Ex-President Bush with another, But then every cynical exterior to leave out. He lets the universe high-live angels sing and celebrate "Wild World". A World which should be for everyone. Long ago the audience stands and asks vehemently Zugaben.Drei should eswerden. "My People", for all the people for freedom and peace stand up, then he lets the "Peace Train" steam off to the Concert with "All Kind of Roses" almost to terminate care. Good Night, see you soon and inshallah, says He, of Yusuf, who on stage again all the old Cat Stevens. Cat Stevens takes the fans on the emotional journey.

...and long may it ring for you soitis! Thanks Sabina. It's nice to know that somebody know how I feel about our one and only Cat. Of course ,a lot of people feel the same. I saw it in the Munich. How audience wonderfully accepted Yusuf. And it was great. And how both of you were happy in the cab driving to The Berlin Show. And how I feel the same.
