Now THIS is a great poster! Super costume and face paint on Stormy. Blue is a perfect choice for "darkness", evoking as blue does, an industrialized intellectualized world devoid of heart or spirit. The white forms a smiling crescent of moon! Brilliant!

Is 5 million alot Most average 15-25 million .. well according to the production . Five million is small relative to the cost of most films and theatre productions, but it is a great deal of money relative to the average income of most people. Five million could support a lot of orphans. We must hope, therefore, that this artistic endeavor produces an effect worthy of its cost.

Well to be honest i cant stand musicals (There i said it - LOL). I never planned to watch a musical in my life.......the thought of them made me slightly sick .... Tsk tsk! So negative. Granted, if we're talkin' about moon-Junes like Seven Brides For Seven Brothers and all of that other Hollywooden slock, yeah, it turns my stomach like an overdose of cotton candy. But let's try to be open-minded here. What about opera? Ballet? Walt Disney's Fantasia? Philip Glass' film Koyaanisquatsi? How about genius Julie Taymor's incredible costume designs for "The Lion King"? And once in a blue june moon, some musical actually produces great music. Isn't Maria from West Side Story one of the greatest pieces of music ever written? I think that song will endure as well as any Mozart symphony.

The white forms a smiling crescent of moon! Brilliant! I like the way the word "Moonshadow" kinda looks like it *might* be the same if turned upside down. It's not, of course, but the "W" is a mirror image of the "M" and the rest of the word hints at it. For example the "a" is open on top looking like the "n" upside down. I suppose there's a meaning behind that, too.

I like the fact that the Moonshadow ambigram is imperfect -- as a reflection through a mirror darkly should be. Here are some other great ambigrams: Attachments:

I must admit i do try to be open minded but its hard when it comes to musicals and opera shows.... O Mio Babbino Caro by Puccini! A young girl begging her father to let her marry the boy she loves. I'm not fluent in Italian but I actually know the lyrics to this one because ... sigh ...
