Today at facebook  "Moonshadow The Musical will officially be launched tomorrow at thePrincess Theatre in Melbourne, Australia where the Musical will officially open on the 31st May! God Willing."   There's ANOTHER poster that I need!!  Hey, if any of our Aussie catters come across one, or any advertisments at all, let me know....pretty please!! |

Thx glassworld !! The moon countdown has been started and the excitement is growing. 97 days Will we get Premium tickets for the Premiere show? Start preparing the trip to the other end of the world. So how about our friends from OZ - who will be going? leapin' and hoppin' on a moonshadow feels great  |

Hi Affy, Well, it's always possible (and our collective wish) that a performance DVD of Yusuf's "Moonshadow" might be produced... kind of like a movie-version (say, on second thought, why _not_ an actual _movie_?!?... "Why, why, why not?"). Afterall, many theatrical musicals have been made into movies. Ahhhhh... wouldn't that be something! Sorry for such a wordy reply to your neat and concise question! ;D -Bud |

Newspaper here in Melbourne reporting that casting is almost finalised, with the lead child's role to be determined, in advance of the May 31st opening... I'll most likely be going...

My flight from Frankfurt to Melbourne is similar to yours, Christina. 12 hrs to Singapore, 4 hrs layover and then 7.5 hours to Melbourne. The flight home from Sydney has a short stopover in Singapore only, time of flight 20:55. If the thread you've created to find out who is going and when would have been used for this purpose only, we would easily know who else will be there for the opening night.  Maybe we must start a new attempt to get an overview... I'm quite curious which other 30 songs had been chosen. We know 10 already from the previews from 2009 to 2011. Glad to see Yusuf being so sunshiny, content and proud of his baby :-) And we are too !! |
