With all the cell phone cameras out there, continuing to ban cameras seems silly, IMHO. That being said, I realize many artists find multiple and frequent flashbulbs going off to be a major annoyance/distraction. On the few occasions when I've brought a camera to a gig, I've disabled the flash. (Usually get better shots that way - as long as I can manage to hold my caffeinated hand steady, that is.) I'm not sure whether I'll attempt to bring a camera to the show, but I'll have my iPhone with me. The camera in that didn't do too well at the Police gig this summer, but I wasn't in the best of seats for that one. -Joanne

Here's a photo taken in the Royal Albert Hall in 2003, without a flash, and by my husbands steady hand, mine were blurred, lol.

Hi Planning on going to the concert on Friday and hopefully would like to meet up with some of you on this site. Does anyone who is going know a good place to meet up for a chat? Those of you who are meeting up - is it better to meet up before or after the show?
Hopefully hear from some of you later. Thanks

Thanks Hi Juliette, Not sure what plans others may have made, but a couple of us will be at the Majestic Hotel, 158-160 Cromwell Road in Kensington. If you'd like to meet up, ring the hotel and ask for Joanne Creedon. That goes for anyone else trying to organize a group thing, too! I'm off to the airport in about an hour so this is my last chance to check in here. Looking forward to seeing everyone...especially Yusuf. ;D Hehe... Ciao for now... Joanne

YEs, I remember this information being posted somewhere, but for the life of me, I can't find the info anywhere. Can someone repost it, please, with date/times and channels it will be on. Much appreciated. Peace,Vivian

The video isn't working now, at least not for me. I'll have to try again at a later time.

Thank you for posting this, Anette! It was so exciting to see Joanne and Sue standing up and clapping so close to the front! Thanks to both for being such terrific representatives of Majicat. "One Day at a Time" was a perfect choice for Peace One Day. I love the lines One day at a time A child is born into this world Eyes blind
But one day he will find His sight And glimpse another kind Of Light To live by One day . . . They remind me of I think I see the light Coming to me Coming through me Giving me a second sight I also love how Yusuf changed "we can put machines behind" to "we can put the wars behind." I missed Alun Davies . . . ~Sun~
