In the end I will say the interview was really fine, the pictures were great, I was finally able to click on a working link to listen to one of the songs on Yusuf's upcoming album, and that's why I posted the link in the first place. Upon reading the "comments" section, I felt that most were in very poor taste, and that's why I deleted.
I was happy to see that Yahoo had the good sense to remove their comments section and just present the article, which is what they should have done in the first place.

It's your reality .. It is not my reality . My meaning of Life are "my choices" and what I give "life to" .. like the most recent interview Yusuf gave . I love that interview .. I put meaning to my own life with my choices, and thus it is my reality .. worldly news is "current events" and are perceptions of what is going on in the world .. and most of the media get it wrong but there is reality in it . those comments are distractions for you, and can wrap people "in it" .. see we have choices to talk about it and give it life, or talk about the album and keep positive that is the spiritual decisioning. like the last verse in Yusuf's version of "You are My Sunshine" that is exactly what the devil wants you to do ... lead you astray..take that smile off your face.. love that last verse about what his mother told him!! and I can assure you the non-sensical comments are not bothering him ... he's got a fabulous tour and album coming out and so much more .. always going to be haters in our lives at our jobs ... it doesn't have power over us . not even to talk about it if we choose that . so lets agree to disagree.. I definitely don't mind if anyone disagrees with me .. I respect what you have created your reality to be .. and lastly downunder the response is very positive for the tour because they are sold out xoxoxxox I'm going to all but one .. my xmas present to me !! I will video some of the audience and interview them !!! I enjoy doing that!!! ps . @downunder pretending to see can be quite dangerous too... xoox
Dear Aurarism- I can see very clearly and do not walk with my head in the sand. I do not live a fool's paradise. Obviously you did not read my first post on the subject. Never mind. I have no doubt that the album and tour will be a success, I was talking about another response. I'm honestly happy you are going to all but one concert, but there are some who are not in such a position to go to even one for reasons you might not be able to percieve. I patiently await for you posts after the concerts to make up for my loss..... Peace
dear downunder just responded it that it is reality and one can't pretend it isn't there .. I really don't get that comment you made ... .. ... so I responded to that particular line mostly peace

"Why acknowledge the negative IN ANYTHING!?" Because it is reality, and we can't pretend that it is not here... in other case, we will be surprise how big sometimes can the evil in people grow, to what proportion... pretending not to see is very dangerous, and I think that it is also reason why Yusuf is back, with all the risks it can bring. 100% agree with you, Barney Yes we are living and witnessing global politcal, economic, and religious insatabilty, and it is frightening, it is very real, and yes I agree, we would be very foolish to pretend it does not exist, and that it does not affect us. You might say it may be bad timing again on Yusufs part, but then again will there ever be the right time. He is also being critisized by some muslims now, but his come back is a very personal matter, I think it goes beyond his religious beliefs, so I have to agree with you, maybe this is the reason he is back with all the obvious risks. It is sad, "the evil that's been done, is still carrying on", lets hope Yusuf will have a more positive response during the tour. yes downunder this is the part .. whose pretending .. I'm not following then..just respond to that part ..

Oh don't get me started on this interview ..it's quite sad how peoples hearts are so covered and dusty like this interviewer . I"m sure he really didn't hear Yusuf/Cat speak at all ... well I do like this line "If Paulo Coelho wrote songs, this is what they would sound like." and that he annoyingly liked them .. how weird is that line..like the interviewer must keep up his dark persona...
seee I know when one really lets this album hit them .. it goes deep.... that's why I love it so much!!! .. it really takes a hammer and knocks down some walls that are surrounding peoples hearts and they just don't do all that work to open up their hearts LOLOLOL

music.cbc.ca/#!/Inside-the-Music I think they have a "listen again" feature where you can hear the program. (ONLY if you're Canadian, hrmph...) It was excellent. I hope you can get to hear this one during one of the times listed above. (Time zones are Canadian, so adjust as necessary for your location).

www.lalibre.be/culture/musique/folk-rock-blues-on-a-retrouve-cat-stevens-546088973570a5ad0ee1dacaa review of the Brussels concert- can some one move this. I have no idea how to post in the correct place. translated by Bing He sang Maybe you're right, would have loved to hear that! He had somewhat disappeared radar screens or, at least, his image was blurred. Superstar from the beginning of the seventies, with four albums and so many masterpieces in two years, Cat Stevens has always been mystical concerns. They led him to convert to Islam in 1977, to furnish his songs in his guitar, and changing his name to Yusuf Islam. It wasn't the first time because his real name is Steven Demetre Georgiou, born in the summer 1948 to a Greek father and a Swedish mother who had a restaurant in London's West End. To convert is one thing, to take radical positions and supports the condemnation by ayatollah Khomeini against the Anglo-Indian novelist Salman Rushdie for the publication of "The Satanic Verses" is another. It was in 1989. Since then, it had lost Cat Stevens, regretting the hyper-talented musician. The way back was long, including through a return on the episode of Salman Rushdie, an attitude he describes today as 'stupidity' footprint 'bad taste '. But at Forest National, Sunday evening, Cat Stevens was well back, without overshadow the good sides of Yusuf Islam. Entitled "Peace Train". Late Again Tour', the tour started in London on 4 and 5 November, before through Brussels and six other cities European, then America's North in December. Forest was the third date, but Cat Stevens / Yusuf and his six musicians gave a performance in all respects nearly perfect. Station of western decor The decor to accommodate the 'Peace Train' is, as it should, a station. Plank, old, dilapidated, it evokes a Far West Hollywood with, in the background, a wind well in the former and a sky with changing colours according to the mood of the songs. The art of the great musician is involved its former Repertory with what he has done since, two excellent albums, "Roadsinger" (2009) and ' Tell 'Em I' me Gone ", which comes out. Interesting approach this new opus focused on blues and rhythm'blues that have animated the youth English of the 1960s, so that of Steven Georgiou. It certainly was not expecting this side there, but the singer was angling for revisiting a classic of Edgar Winter ("Dying to Live") or the splendid "You Are my Sunshine" popularized by Ray Charles. Is from its own "Editing Floor Blues" (autobiographical), "Gold Digger" (tribute to Nelson Mandela) or "I Was Raised in Babylon" (on the life and death of civilizations), the singer and his band were fishing, the groove, the good vibration. One of the most beautiful voices Unexpected, this directory blends in all 35 titles, where the singer-songwriter revisits classics like "Moonshadow", "Wild World", "Where do the Children Play", "Sad Lisa", "Maybe You re Right", "Morning Has Broken" and of course "Peace Train". Some of these songs have evolved, some have been completely redone, such "Bitter Blue", slowed, asked. According to the singer, it is to adapt to the evolution of a voice that rise as high as before. Partly true pretext. Cat Stevens has almost lost none of his voice, soft and the range always also extended, but above all this, warm, comforting. One of the most beautiful voices of popular music of the 20th century, certainly, for melodies among the most chiseled. But musical evolution goes in the direction of development of the person towards an ethic of reconciliation and peace. Suddenly, and without ever running out of energy, his repertoire is as pacified, magnified. In doubt: these two hours thirty (or almost) concert, the public comes out literally delighted, positively enchanted. It must be said that in these troubled times, such moments of peace, radiant, are life-saving.

Thank you, Ale. I tried & tried to get the article to download with no luck. I did get to read articles on a lot of other musicians which was cool. Was about to pull out the magnifying glass, but I'm happy that you shared the article here with us. I enjoyed reading it.
