Not to mention jet lag which has you in a zombie-like state for a couple of days, so you really aren't "all there" to enjoy what you went for in the first place.  |

HA HA! Jet lag, that would only affect me coming HOME! Going, I would be WAY TOO EXCITED! And coming home, it would take me a whole month to come down off my cloud before Jet lag would even set in! And if I were to be sandwiched between two giants and have my seat kicked, I just put on CAT, and I am instantly transformed into another world! But I CAN'T GO!!! WHAH!!  Peace,Vivian |

Diddle, Since jet lag doesn't affect you, and you will be bright-eyed and bushy tailed, so to speak, you can go to Russell Square and take a pic of the hotel for me, eh? It's on Southhampton Road. |

Sorry it's taking a while to sort out a rendezvous for the NoR, but the fan in London I'm in contact with is still trying to find somewhere suitable for everyone to meet up.
Unfortunately he is out of the country a lot, and hasn't had a chance to check places out very much.
He's back from Ghana soon and has promised to contact me ASAP.
He says he thinks he can find somewhere that should be OK for drinkers and non-drinkers alike, that will be close to the RAH.
Sorry again about the delay, seeing as how close the date is getting now, hopefully he'll let me know by next week.

So I had that depressing little fashion show in my bedroom the other afternoon...ya know, the one where ya tear everything outta yer closet and try it all on only to find that nothing, and I mean nothing is quite right. It's too small or too big, or it's frumpier than you remember or skimpier than you remember or just plain out-of-date or you don't have just the right top for that particular bottom or vice-versa or, damnit, you forgot to get it to the cleaners to have the coffee stain removed and now there's no hope of getting it out. (LOL You guys should see my bed...well, actually, you can't...it's still aswarm in a veritable sea of sequins, beads, and bangles. My friend A was over on Thursday evening, and he remarked that it looked like the dressing room of a drag queen.) Haha! Ok, I think that's just enough of a rant to justify my going to Filene's Basement today with an aim to treat myself to a spanking new outfit for next week. I'm off to bargain hunt! -Joanne |

Relax, Jen. You can pick up all the magazines and cd's and dvds once you get there. As far as what to take, pack light. Don't forget a warm outer garment. You've been there often enough to know what to take. Maybe a dressy outfit, and the rest casual.
Have a fantastic time and take a group pic of all the dotcommers and whomever you happen to meet.

Hehe Sue thanks...just joking about the packing. Actually I'm a notoriously light packer. Sometimes too light. Not too long ago I was going on an overnight trip with my boss. We were driving together...so at the end of the day I showed up at his office with my small tote bag. He takes one look at me and said, "ooohhh, I guess we have to stop at your car and get the rest of your bags" Hahah....umm, "no, this is it" I said. Well, when we got to our destination he pops the trunk, and he's got a huge valise on wheels in there...like one of those 36" rollaways. I think MEN overpack more than women!!

Will bluegirl pack any clothes will that other stuff?
Will Kim be able to curl up in her airline seat like a big squirrel and sleep? (Have you thought of taking melantonin? Does anyone know about this? Do I have the right name? Sak, Colleen?)
