Very nice finds Glaucus - in the Mathew and Son video his dancing And the puppets dancing?!!!! Only in France would you have small stuffed animals sharing the stage with a pop singer. Actually, come to think of it, maybe it's the ancestor to the Muppet Show!!

Just when you think that there's nothing that hasn't been found - here's another treasure. Boy, and he's working it, too! Well, when you are competing with dancing puppets, you have to put on your BEST show! Thanks, Glaucus - too cute!

You're all welcome. Geez, so that's what it takes to see our old friends pop up on this board. Glad to see you all here. I'm always surprised to see old Cat footage surfaced, and of high quality. But come to think of it, I'm sure there is still some that haven't seen the light of day yet. Would love to see the couple of songs he did for the CBC's "Hart and Lorne Terrific Hour" in 71 for example. It's collecting dust in the CBC vaults in Toronto.

Charles is so right: It's always a welcome sight whenever we see our greatly-treasured and sorely-missed buddies return to Majicat. Please stay, Milan & Vicki as, of course, we count upon Richina to forever be a beloved fixture. -Bud You're all welcome. Geez, so that's what it takes to see our old friends pop up on this board. Just popping in to thank Glaucus for finding and sharing this! Wow.... they were so young (not that either of them will ever get truly old, no matter how many candles they have on their birthday cakes)!!
Amazing!

Please, permit me to quote myself: I'm always surprised to see old Cat footage surfaced, and of high quality. But come to think of it, I'm sure there is still some that haven't seen the light of day yet. Look at this one: CAT STEVENS - "I'm Gonna Get Me A Gun" (Promo Television Performance On "Dim Dam Dom" "Dim Dam Dom" was an extremely popular woman TV show in France in the 60s.

Once again ladies and gentlemen, the magik of YouTube operates.
Apparently from April 1971, but where??? And who's playing the bass? Would that be John Ryan?
Enjoy:
