1. an unlicensed (pirated, not bootleg) recording put out by Solo Music in 1971 / this company, among others, was sued by the major record labels of the day and put out of business due to newly revamped anti-piracy laws. This was the first trial of its' kind and these albums are pretty rare. 2. Music Scene magazine (Apr 1974) with a great cover I'd never seen. 3. Fabulous 208 magazine (July 1966) that Cat edited. I have all the Fab 208's with Cat on the cover! In one issue there is a contest to go to Greece with Cat. Wonder if they had many entries?? 4. 1966 Dutch 45 / title says Lovely Cities instead of Lovely City. Nice pic, huh? 5. Back to Earth Promo poster 1977/ I've got quite a few Cat posters....ah!! 6. Discoveries magazine with an awesome cover 7. Japanese "Harold and Maude" soundtrack released in 1972/ few and far between! 8. Another pirated copy of "T & F" from 1972. This is the back of the sleeve, the front is plain red. / The label says Crash Record Promotions and the cover says Cinq Records. Both these companies were from Nevada and were thought to be separate. This was the only album ever printed which tied the two companies together. It's funny how on the back cover Cinq claims to have paid all necessary royalties...this statement was more than bogus. Anti-piracy laws got them too!! I hope my hubby never sees this, but you know....there are some days when everything you try on fits!!! Lots of items I wanted came up around the same time. Oops, and I've got a couple more I'm working on. I've lost count on the vinyl, so I'm startin' to think I might be an avid collector!! ;D Whut?! you agree??? ;D

Yes girls, the Bamboozle Program IS purple - everybody knows The blue one is from a gig he did shortly before he started Bamboozle Tour. Nobody argued that the blue one is the Bamboozle Tour Program richina wrote "This was around the time of the Bamboozle Tour..."And here ( www.billdeyoung.com/cstimeline.htm ) it's saying "March 19. Bamboozle tour opens in Glasgow."Well, I have this one and not (yet) this one ;D except mine is autographed so is my Majikat one ... not everyone knows that ;D yeah blue one was A Gig. I should have brought my Moonshadow Tour Program and Filmore East one .. ) .. but they look nice on my plant room walll framed 2 signed 2 not .. xo all my vinyls are signed "Cat Stevens" I might auction off one of the yo-yo's I have ..

Aurarismas precious stuff is in the plant room.. where do you keep yours Richina? M? everyone else?..just curious/nosey.. I have several tour posters, and some neat old promo ads, framed hanging in the utility room. I also have my signed albums, tour programs, autographed children's book, and signed "Roadsinger" lyric sheet (and 45) hanging in the library/office, with their COA's and provenance on back. My albums, 45's, magazines/clippings, music books for every album, collectible cards/post cards, recent tour programs, and other little odds and ends are stored in a closet. I moved everything there for 2 reasons: the collection got too big for the entertainment center, and the vinyl needed to be stored in a particular way to protect it. I've got close to 200 records (45's, EP's, & LP's). Lots of bootlegs, colored vinyl (a blue Teaser, that I can't find info on), special issues (H & Maude/Majikat), and copies from all over the world. But my favorites have to be a mono test pressing of Tillerman done 20 days prior to the record release, and containing a dated typed page showing what to put on the label. Also an Izitso acetate, and factory samples of "The View from the Top" that have dated handwritten notes, on Deram paper, from the sound engineer showing mistakes made on certain songs, and requesting test pressings ASAP. He also wrote on the paper sleeve "Alan, Please let us know P.D.Q. if this meets with your approval? Thanks"...then I can't tell what the name is. I love the "one of a kindness" of it all. So in other words, to answer your question...I have it all over the house. It's kinda funny that my "Cat" stuff is in the office and my "Blue Dog" collection is across the hall in the media room. Shoot, everybody knows cats and dogs don't get along! ;D PS I acquired the items posted earlier in the past couple of months and yes, a personal item from the man himself....priceless!!!! sssshhhhh!

I have never been a collector of any type of memorabilia, but I am VERY impressed with your collection, Richina! Any chance that you could take pictures of a few more of your special items and post them here? Like the blue vinyl Teaser?

I have never been a collector of any type of memorabilia, but I am VERY impressed with your collection, Richina! Any chance that you could take pictures of a few more of your special items and post them here? Like the blue vinyl Teaser? Jane or affectionately known as JaneyPoo , This album is in a normal pale green Teaser sleeve (UK) but the record is deep blue. You can only see the color if you hold it up to the light, otherwise it looks black. I've tried to track the matrix numbers but to no avail...could be that I'm not as good a "Googler" as others! Maybe somebody could help a brother out?? ;D [glow=blue,2,300]info on lp: [sleeve] ILPS9154 / Freshwater / Printed and Made by Howard Printers (Slough) Ltd / [record]-pink rim palm tree label-matrix # (Side 1) ILPS 9154-1 w/ a 2 underneath (Side 2) ILPS 9154-B also w/ the 2, all handwritten, of course.[/glow] I even played a little of it to make sure it was the real deal. The lp and sleeve are NM, but I have no idea where it came from. I love colored vinyl and also have orange, green, and lt. blue bootleg Teasers (TMOQ). My Harold and Maude is brown/gold splatter. BTW, I started collecting stuff a couple of months before my 50th birthday...wonder if it was a midlife crisis? or just trying to recapture my youth? I can tell you this, when I look at certain pictures of the "Cat", I still sputter , trip , and make an automatic "kissie face" just like I did when I was a silly teenager! Hey, and don't be throwing no stones people, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one! Oh, and so whut if I am!!! ;D ;D Hey Moninski....tell us about your stuff and maybe we can make a little swap. and no, this is not off topic...see how I mentioned old photos before the involuntary drooling and twitching started?

I can say the word JEALOUS ! that is an awesome collection,, good for you, true cat fan !! still jealous tho) lol Thanks Goldie, whut's up??? Where you been.....snowed in? Speaking of collections, now that I think about it (can you smell the electrical smoke?), I guess we'll have to have 2 CS/YI museums...the European branch and the US branch!! No, nevermind, we'll just put everything together and whoever contributes the most stuff can be the curator! ;D Wonder if the old restaurant is still for rent? "Hey Yusie....go on and buy that building, will ya?!! We've got business to take care of and we ain't gettin' any younger!! We need to be ready for when you get your Hall of Fame induction!" ;D PS "Yo M., the "memorobilia competition" is on like a chicken bone....and no amount of fancy-schmancy colored wheels (oops, insert colored font) is gonna save you now!!" Heh-heh!! ;D ;D

Richina - I bet if there was a Cat Stevens version of "Let's Make a Deal" there is NOTHING you wouldn't have in your purse! How right you are JP, and I'm thinkin' about developing a CS/YI version of Jeopardy and Trivial Pursuit!! ;D I'm pretty sure he's done enough in his life to fill up both games easily!! Maybe even a couple of crossword puzzles!! Cha-ching $!$!$!$! only problem is that there'd be some stiff competition around here which might lead to.... And no this is not off topic....see the "old Cat" photo??

No idea what Jeopardy and Trivial Pursuit is And Aurarisma your not allowed to post in red anymore Sorry Affy, Jeopardy is an American television game show that has been on since 1964. It features trivia questions from a host of topics. It is shown in most countries around the globe. I want to have one show dedicated to just CS/YI!! How much fun would that be?? Trivial Pursuit is a board game, created in Canada (1979), that became extremely popular in America around 1984. There are many versions of the game such as "Family" Trivial Pursuit, "1980's TV" Trivial Pursuit, etc. It's gone all around the world. I want a CS/YI Special Edition game!!
