I've just taken an "OK" photo of the Gold record - how does one post a picture here? I don't see an option for it.

I've just taken an "OK" photo of the Gold record - how does one post a picture here? I don't see an option for it. Hi Dan, You have to upload your photo to a site like Photobucket (that's the one I use.) After your photo is uploaded, Photobucket gives you an image code. You simply copy that image code and paste it in a reply here on the forum, it will display the actual photo. Hope that helps! Jane

Haven't been buying much lately.... but here are my most recent!! a very cool pewter belt buckle (yet I have no belt..) It appears to have been taken from the same photo as in the Zimmering program....you know the one ladies, at the piano with nothing covering his top half but a tan... ouch, I think I hurt myself when my eyes bugged out at the thought! and of course, this beautiful magazine from 1972 He looks like he could be one of the BeeGees the way his teeth look.....not bad, mind you, just different.

more stuff.... good grief, I'm gonna have to get a bigger house! a lovely little French EP from 1967 a crazy 9" X 12" hardback book from 1972 (love the cover ) and a bootleg TMOQ, still in shrink wrap, recorded live in Chicago, June 8, 1971 (the quality is quite good). I actually have 3 other copies, but the records are orange, green, and blue....I didn't have black!! ...shop till you drop, I always say!! Oh, and shut-up about my spending Jane! ;D

more new stuff.... I had never seen this paperback..... "JOSEPH'S SURRENDER"14 pages of poems, pictures, and words by Cat Stevens. I'm guessing he wrote it to help explain his conversion. Can't wait to read it!! ;D PS Oh, and Blossom, they DO make custom tennis shoes with Cat/Yusuf pictures all over them....I just don't think hubby would understand $175 for a pair of Nikes!! And at this very moment, I'm wearing shorts and my "WANTED" t-shirt....no stilettos for me. ;D

Maybe collecting Cat memorabilia can become an Olympic sport? A little healthy competition never hurt anyone.

I do think her contact sheet looks better than mine though. Oh well, *sigh* BUT...I have every Fabulous 208 that Cat was on the cover of (including that one), and another one that has his "Catistics" in it as well. . I love the stuff, glad to have company in the nuthouse M.!

aquisitions in the last month.... ;D seller says this rare promotional item was acquired from a "higher up" at A&M records in Canada (he said for me to call him so I can get the FULL story about the pendant oooh ) a test pressing of "Foreigner" that was mailed for approval to Marv Dorfman, who was head of sales at A&M while Cat was there.... the 2 of them actually came to the company about the same time in 1969 a neat sticker from Denmark a 1971 handbill announcing 2 of Cat's shows in Santa Clara (I have the corresponding poster) and Berkeley, California Tillerman promotional poster (finally found one at an affordable price) a 1966 45 from Holland that's all for now....but not to worry, I'm forever on the lookout for the odd, the unusual, and the down right different in Cat stuff!! and the saga continues...I'll keep you posted!!

I'd like to be your assistant, too :-) Sounds fabulous...I could put you in charge of dusting. ( hee- hee I hate to dust! ) Who else needs a job? The more languages spoken the better....'cause you know people would come from all over the world to visit our little establishment! Hey, anybody clean bathrooms? ( I hate doing that too! )

Well, I'm holding out for having the honor of repainting the red bedroom, remember?
HOWEVER, I might clean the loos if I could have an unlimited free pass to view the exhibits in exchange. OR better yet - IF I could lead a very special guest of honor on a tour of the museum! ;D
