Thanks so much for the love and prayers for my Mother .. I almost lost her on Thursday .. Thank God my plane was delayed and I kept calling her from airport and heard something peculiar going on and grabbed my bag and taxi'ed back in time to get her to hospital.. and admitted for care.
It will take a month or two but after her treatments we will be all be doing a big fat Greek Dance !!!! We are now it could be so much worse..
Hope that you and yours are in best of health and in joy.

I will get a good photo of Yusuf at Ceremony and night before dinner maybe an impromptu video to say hello .. well why not ??!!! Hoping that your Mom's treatments are going well, Christina. Thanks Bud for you kindness and friendship. I treasure it !! Yes I'm going to try my best . I've had many opps for photos but I'm not about that, but on this most special occasion I might ask for one .. Being in that Rock Museum is a historical moment that generations will be knowing of him forever and all his music too!!!

Yoriyos would make a good one to induct Yusuf too since he did bring the Angelic guitar back into Yusufs arms . and heart ... xxo theres really alot of hush hush on it all .. we shall see.. I'm going to go to dinner and induction .. i have passes for the rehearsals too so we shall see ! xoxxoxxoxo I will try to get photos !!! and some infor .. and maybe a video it would be nice to interview him for the majicatters ... xxooxxxox

Geez, that was short! Personally, I would have much rather like an entire song instead of a medley ("First Cut Is The Deepest" - "Wild World") but I understand it can be hard for him to chose. Anyway, I shouldn't even "complain"... he's been back for almost a decade now and I still can't believe it! So seeing him on the telly is still quite a treat! Oh, also I loved how the band included the melody of "Was Dog A Doughnut" in a filler at the beginning of the show! |

Hope this isn't a new trend - seeing his facial expressions really adds to his song delivery. Yes the close ups would have been perfect if we could have seen the twinkle in his eyes. Maybe it was the bright studio lights, or maybe to cover up being a little nervous, which he was, or maybe his eyes have tell tale signs of being a little tired with so much going on, and maybe a little older, the eyes tell no lies. Anyway, the close ups were much appreciated, and the classy Ray Bans , which I think look great on him, (but whatever he wears, he wears well  , help his new up beat image, helping him connect with his new younger followers. Time will soon tell if this is a new trend for short appearances only, but I doubt for full length concerts. He is warming up again, he is on a high, and I think he will surprise us with some unexpected events. |
