yoriyos got new picture on his myspace under the folder aaron stout his friend passed away couple days ago (he's in yoriyos pied piper video and yusuf's midday with yoriyos too maybe i have to go check and see where yoriyos is in that)

This must be a very sad time for Yoriyos. His friend Aaron Stout was a very gifted artist, who was an influence on Yoriyos when he was starting out musically, and seems to have a very special place in Yoriyos's heart. Reading his warm memories of Aaron, Yoriyos shows the same sensitivity as his father. I'm sure YI was there to comfort his son.

Yusuf knew the guy to ,he even was in the videoshoot for midday ,you see him in the midden of Yoriyos and Arkane sitting round the table with Yusuf.
If you look close you should think Yusuf was smoking and i tought he stopped pitty Yoriyos is smoking to sorry i'm concerned about there health.I saw alot of people around me died of lungcancer.Regii

You know I think that Yoriyos expresses himself really well in the written word. He wrote a truly wonderful tribute to his friend on myspace. He would make a fine essayist or journalist and I'm glad he has chosen writing poems and music too.

I worked in liver transplant for years at Cedars-Sinai we did half the band of Crosby Stills and Nash David Crosby and the drummer I forgot his name. Dallas Taylor I think.

Also Larry Hagman and many others, many young people like Robert Redford's son who was only in his 20's. These people were dying if not for some kind person donating an organ to save them.

People should donate organs to save more young people. Don't know what his friend passed away from but it's sad when it's a beautiful young person full of life and dreams and music.

Also, somebody got a liver from a kid who liked Kentucky Fried Chicken and she developed a craving for it! It's called "cellular memory" or something like that! How about that huh!

"Cellular memeory", that souds a very interesting topic to explore.

Regii, I think it would seem too insensitive or morbid, if we were to think of what transplant you would need to require talent for music and playing an instrument. A better solution would be stem cell transplants, maybe we could have the same results. I think this new therapy holds the key to a new world of medicine.

Sue it's totaly different alto i'm sure the lyrics are great because it's a totally different style of music and maybe because i'm dutch to it's not easy to understand i love him more in acoustic way found his voice is perfect for that but ofcause he is young and needs to find out more ,hope he don't stop the more folky songs .He is on the road to find out .Did you hear what Yusuf was saying on the BBC SHOW just before the father and son song ,was funny try to listen you will hear Regii

Some things in life will never change. Sons will be sons, and fathers will be fathers. He was being very open when he said his son sometimes does not listen to him.

I too prefer Yoriyos with his previous style of music, but I guess after all the negative response he got with his interest in native american indian culture, he decided to back away from that. His new choice of music style is safer, as it appeals to a more younger audience, who are not so quick to judge. He is still very young, very talented in many fields, and many new doors are awaiting for him to be opened.

Yoriyos mention me a while ago in a message on my space he would sure take the time to do something solo but that he was now so busy with Noxshi he had not the time so time will tell .If they are very sucsesfull after the Australian tour maybe then they have plans to tour the world and get chances to do that .Regine he needs to do the things he liked and found out what he wants and at the moment that's Noxshi .I think if i should have all the lyrics of the songs i could understand it better if only i could get those lyrics .Glassworld maybe a hint maybe you could find out ?

Nice to see you here again Christina.

I know Yusufs fathers name was Stavros Georgiou. I think Yoriyos was derived from the surname. As you are Greek, you know that the meaning of Georgios is 'worker of the land'. I think Yusuf, and Yoriyos has mention this in some interviews.

Yusuf's father's name was Stavros. If I am not mistaken, I believe "Yoriyos" is the way Steve's real sir name, was pronounced, but it was changed to "Georgiou", because it was easier to pronounce and remember. So in actually, Steve's real name is Steve Yoriyos!
