What a great picture! It is wonderful to see him able to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery (something he couldn't do when he was there before). And yes, I would die if I ran into him while I was out for a stroll on the beach! There would be those incomprehensible sounds emitting from me, then somebody (Jane, Regi, Vicki, etc.) would have to bonk me in the head and remind me to get myself together! ;D As for our "Operation Australia" goes...I think we've got enough people, tents, jambalaya, and walkie-talkies to handle it. It would take some serious planning on our part though. I personally think we should slip Majid a few dirhams so he might keep us "up to snuff" on Yusuf's present location! Wait, something tells me he won't go along with it...shoot, his paw-in-law is loaded, what does he need our piddly little money for? Oh well, nix that idea. Anybody else got a plan? Good paparazzi we ain't! ;D What-e-ver...we'd have blast and see the country at least! Now how we gonna sneak into all these shows? Think of something, we don't have much time!! Oh, and you'll have to excuse me while I go find a truck stop with a shower...it's gettin' a little crowded in this tent! Now where'd I put that loofah..... Hee-hee What fun!! ;D

Okay, so to try to answer my own question, since the concert starts at 8:00 P.M., then it's almost exactly 8 hours away - right?
Which would be 8:00 A.M. Thursday, majicat.com time...

In about 5 minutes the announcment should be made for Yoriyos to come on stage. Everyone should be sitting now waiting for the concert to begin. The countdown now begins!!! All the best to everyone!!! Knock off their shoes, hats, whatever!!! ;D

The probably young guy, who named us like that in his review of the RAH show last december, should have gone to this board before So he'd known that we all behave and feel like teens when it's about Yusuf

I wonder what Yusufs opening song for the concert was? Any guesses? I say opening song,"THE WIND", and closing with"PEACE TRAIN" then encores standing ovations, then hard to guess which songs as an encore. I would like "TUESDAYS DEAD" or even better still, "SITTING" just as he did at my '72 concert in Melbourne.

Thanks Gabi. Looks like they are having a few sound problems. As usual, Yusuf wanting everything to be perfect , and Alun just a little tired of waiting. ;D This is not Aminahs photo this time, but the photographer must definitely be Greek after reading his name. Didn't get much work done today, but who cares, I'll just work a lttle overtime tomorrow. ;D

We're NOT teens? That changes everything in my life... It's 7:30 in the morning here in Minneapolis, so I have all day to not do any work ;D and keep up on what is happening in Perth. Can't wait for the reports to start rolling in!

I thought you would never notice. ;D Looks like we are going to all sit this one out. Early riser Sun was the first to get up, then our baby of the family Hatidje, wonderful Gabi with her great videos of Yusuf in German to keep us busy till the concert starts, our dear sweet Regi, now you who all you can think about is the jacket, I wonder what's keeping Rechina, she must be still dreaming of camping on the beach. ;D

Yes, I do love that jacket! I was up quite early but figured I would reserve my "slacking off" until I got to work. I know, that's not right, is it? I will try to keep an eye on things as best I can, but I have to get some things done at work, too. Ugh - that is not going to be easy! Richina, Richina - where are you?

I'm here, I'm here!!! I told you I had to find a truck stop so I could take a shower!! I haven't even dried my hair yet!! Love the warm up pic and is the venue open air? Looks like its outside. That place looks huge...our boy is gonna be a tad nervous. But I'm sure he'll get over it pretty quick. I can't wait for more pictures and some posts on youtube!! Gosh, I wish I was there! Oh, and about the jacket, (don't get mad 'cause it is cool) I would rather see him wear different stuff. He is such a great dresser, why does he wear the same things when he performs? But hey, I'm not fussin', he could get up there in a potato sack and I wouldn't care! ;D PS It's almost 9 am here, which means it's 10 pm there...show won't last much longer. I think I'm gonna explode!

Good morning to you too Rechina. We were getting a liitle worried there. ;D Got plenty of time to dry your hair, better still just put a head scarf on. It was really trendy in the 60's, goes very well with Yusufs 'Peace Van'. I forgot, I don't think he shipped out the 'Peace Van' to Australia, or did he? It is a closed venue, and we must remember it's the start of winter there. If he keeps coming back on stage after the repeated encores, we may have to wait a little longer. To ease my nerves, I have a big bar of dark chocolate beside me. ;D I was thinking last night, I wonder if the lady who gave him the book on numerology, what was her name, Lovejoy? Can't remember, but I wonder if she will be attending any of Yusufs concerts, that is if she still is in Australia.

Her name was Hestia Lovejoy. I bet he would meet with her if she were there...just for old times sake. I forget that it is winter there, considering it's in the high 90's here. That would explain the heavy jacket Yusuf was wearing on the beach! Thanks for letting me know it's inside, one of the pictures made it look different. Well, I'm gonna go grab a bandana for my head and wait for the goodies to roll in! ;D I really need to get a life.

Yes Gabi it's over, and theres more news coming!!!! It must have been about a 2 hour concert. My other half thinks I've completely lost it, him seeing me go back and forth onto the computer all day ;D A bit of ironing at the shop, then it's back again. When he set up the net at the shop, I said "we don't need that at the shop," boy was I wrong. ;D I guess he has greatly regretted this decision after today. ;D
