Yes, you're right my friend! It was not just seeing Yusuf back on stage again that made 2009 a very, very special year. Meeting all the beautiful people and spending good times together was - no, is - a big pleasure. cu soon Gabi Gabi - that is very gracious of you to say that, considering that we were out until 1:00 in the morning at the stage door! These are great times, everyone, great times... I'm ready to repeat this any time from now :-)

believe me, that's just the opening of a wonderful new period ...Enjoy this excited anticipation and prepare for an incredible, unforgettable night with Yusuf...We from the other side of the world will be waiting to read your reports and watch your videos on YT I couldn't say it any better, Gabi. This is so exciting and it gives us all so much to look forward to in the next few months. No mention of the Moonshadow Musical...maybe it won't be "showcased" this time around? ~Sun~

Do you guys think he will ever come to North America? Brandon, after all we've witnessed from this man in the last ten years, I'd say "anything's possible"! Keep your hope alive, hey, I'm 45 and I'm still hopeful! I agree with Glaucus. I think Yusuf will come here - we just need an American promoter like Paul Dainty and a lot of encouragement from the fans - and Yusuf, of course.

I found in this article that maybe Yusuf will play two shows in Sydney and also two in Melbourne... or maybe I am wrong? "Yusuf will perform at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on June 16 and 18 and in mainland capital cities." "About 70 to 80 per cent of tickets sold here now are sold via the internet. I'm putting two shows on in Sydney and Melbourne from the get-go because we know from fans and their feedback and waitlists for tickets there is strong demand," promoter Paul Dainty said. tinyurl.com/2efjeq6No, you're not wrong, Barney - I read the same article you quote and understand the same thing. But I thought I read somewhere else that it was Melbourne June 16 and 18 and Sydney June 21 and 23. So it seems the wires are crossed somewhere, but it's the right idea anyway - 9 shows - WOW! This is from YI.com:PERTH - Thursday 10 June - Challenge Stadium. ADELAIDE - Sunday 13 June - Adelaide Entertainment Centre. MELBOURNE - Wednesday 16 June - Rod Laver Arena. SYDNEY - Monday 21 June - Sydney Entertainment Centre. BRISBANE - Saturday 26 June - Brisbane Entertainment Centre. AUCKLAND - Tuesday 29 June - Vector Arena. CHRISTCHURCH - Friday 2 July - Westpac Arena. So, no mention there of the second shows. But if you go to ticketmaster you find this (as of today): Yusuf in Concert Challenge Stadium Mt Claremont, WA Thu 10/06/10 07:30 PM More Info presale begins:Fri 30/04/10 02:00 PM
Yusuf in Concert Sydney Entertainment Centre Darling Harbour, NSW Mon 21/06/1007:30 PM More Info presale begins:Fri 30/04/10 02:00 PM
Yusuf in Concert Sydney Entertainment Centre Darling Harbour, NSW Wed 23/06/10 07:30 PM More Info presale begins:Fri 30/04/10 02:00 PM
So, two shows for Sydney but no mention of Melbourne. I guess "Mt Claremont, WA" is Perth? ~Sun~

He will come to North America - he is all too aware of his many fans from here who traveled to the UK to see him. He knows he has fans here to please, but start planning for it. It is likely to be about the same number of cities as "Blue Moon" so plan on taking the Peace Train...

Well, as far as I'm concerned, the Peace train will eventually have to stop in Montreal, 'cause that's as far as I can go. He just has to come back here, he has so much history with this city. Plus at least three generations of fans and guitar affectionados, who have all at one point in their life learn to play at least one of his songs.

Montreal would be nice glaucus. Even though I now live in Calgary, I was born in Montreal and was there until 1981. He has always been popular in Quebec. Calgary would be awesome...but Montreal would still be sweet.

I truly hope for all you living in the US, and Canada, we will have very soon a subject reading. here on MAJICAT...' CONCERT DATES SET FOR US AND CANADA' , without the question mark, then everybody will be happy. If your happy, we're all happy. ;D I definitely think Yusufs wife and family will be accompaning him on this tour. I feel it will be an experience Yusuf would want, or should share with them.

And I wish the best to all of you lucky Aussies and kiwis!

Today's announcement has been wonderful. I just bought 2 tickets for Sydney at a presale site I have purchased from before. There is a surcharge, but well worth it to secure seats. Bring on June 21....it's going to be a dream come true.... Sorry I haven't bought concert tickets before, could you possibly direct me to this website? I've got to tell my Dad where has to go to buy my tickets. I don't mind paying a surcharge to get good seats.

Best of luck to you, Paulo. www.showbiz.com.auwww.preferredseating.com.au. And here is the presale site Jackie said she used. greatseats.com.au/myerone

What great news this is! I know all Yusuf's fans in those parts of the world will have the most wonderful time - just as those of us who got to see him last year did! Enjoy it, remember it forever, and don't forget to keep us all posted! Jo x PS: I'm a little bit jealous too, though I know it's not fair of me

ONLY YORIYOS HAS A PERFORMING ON 13 JUNE IN SCOTLAND. Thanks for explaining about Yoriyos, Regi. Looks like Noxshi will be opening for him at the Challenge Thank you for the information, angelsea. The performance at the Challenge Stadium in Perth is on Thursday, June 10, so if Yoriyos keeps his June 13th date in Scotland, he'll be doing a lot of traveling... Does anyone know how long the flight is? Will Yoriyos be traveling from the UK? Does he live in Dubai, too?

Paulo how much is that in Euro's or dollars? Aussie dollars I'd assume. Does anyone know (roughly) what that is in US dollars? The price is shocking. Is it because it's pre-pre-sale, or is this the normal price? I'm beginning to understand why everyone is saying "start saving now" for an American tour. Paulo, I hope your dad didn't faint...

Does anyone know (roughly) what that is in US dollars? The price is shocking. 270 Australian dollars = 257 US or Canadian dollars = 198 Euros That's pre-sale, the regular prices for the Sydney show are: Diamond $199 Gold $150 Silver $119 (Australian dollars). BTW. to see a Cat Stevens concert in 1974, the cost of one ticket was around $6.50 !!!! That's what happens when you perform once in a Blue Moon. ;D

I know from Greece the flight is around 20- 22 hours, depending on on the airplane company, with one stop over. If he leaves from Dubai, it will be a few hours shorter. On his return to perform in Scotland from Australia, it should be more than 20 hours. If he is lucky and leaves Australia on the 11th, he will have a day to recover from jet lag.

I love that. 270.00 Australian dollars is 249.88 US dollars and 186.66 Euro. 160 Australian dollars is 148.08 US dollars and 110.61 Euro Thats is very expensive, It works out £162.55 for the gold and £96.33 for the silver, The silver is nearly the same as the London price

At this stage I'm going to have to wait till Tuesday when he has the money in his account to pay for it. Either way, he promised me that he'll get me good tickets one way or another- he's even going to ring radio stations and newspapers for me to find out if there are any competitions etc running.... Haha he said I should try to find out if Yusuf is doing any morning tv, radio interviews etc or when his plane gets in to Sydney to try to meet him and get my Catch Bull at Four LP signed ;D I thinnk might just do that!
