I am very happy for those going to the concerts. (jealous really) I have been reading on Yusuf site that so many fans could not get tickets and are very upset I don't blame them, as tickets were being sold a couple of weeks ago although official date was the May 6th. Again places like E bay and other ticket agent seems to always manage to buy them.

Did y'all see what the diamond tickets are going for....$350!!? Wonder if that's what they'll cost when he comes to U.S.? (notice I said "when"? hee-hee) Gosh, better start saving up now for 2011! Plane, hotel, ticket, new outfit, etc. Worth every penny..if he'd just show up! ;D Congrats to everyone who got tickets, and luck to those trying to find them!

It comes as no surprise history is repeating itself. After reading that the venues will be open to "full capacity", I feel very happy, excited, and at the same time, a little emotional. I'm sure Yusuf must be feeling the same. It brings back memories, and the anticipation of CS's landing Downunder and performing, 1972 Zimmering Tour, and 1974 Bamboozle Tour. The greatest part of this tour is that, he will be with his family. I think Yusuf and family, and his band, are in for unforgettable moments, and a very successful tour Downunder. I hope Yusuf and family make time for a little worthwhile sightseeing. It's not everyday he will get the opportunity with his family to see Australia.

I was so sad to hear all of the heartbroken downunder fans unable to obtain tickets to the concerts. I knew it would happen, it happened back in 1972, 74 & 76 as well. But still so sad to read their heart felt, disapointment on Y.I.com. I just hope and pray they lost out to real fans and not to scalpers which I fear will be the case.

That really will make for great seats. I saw Elvis once and sat behind the stage looking down...it was great. Just because they're not facing you all the time is not that big of a deal. It's fun to see everything going on behind the scenes "so to speak"!! If I recall, Yusuf didn't want "audience" to the side, or behind him. Looks like he's gonna be surrounded!! Love it!! And Jane...we'll have to work up an itenerary for the states! One show??? I don't think so!!

It's great to hear about all the excitement downunder-I hope there will be enough tickets for all the fans. Takes me back to last November and counting down the days.... Yusuf really must be 'chuffed' seeing the tickets being grabbed up like this. No doubt-there will be a US tour at some point!!!

Hi - thank you for your kind wishes but all the tickets sold out within 30 minutes. This guy is playing the Challenge Stadium which is a massive venue and every single ticket has been sold. Unfortunately I didnt get one - I cant describe how Im feeling at the moment. I havent given up yet but unfortunately there is not going to be another concert in Perth. I think the whole of Perth got on the internet including me the minute the tickets went on sale.
It is good though that he is still as popular here as in the 70s. People are really looking forward to seeing him.
I think I will wait outside Challenge Stadium all day and try and get a glimpse of him.
Lots of love to you all Peace Margi xxx

Gee I'm really sorry to hear that some fans have missed out- I can't imagine how gutted crushed you must feel! :-( Margi, I'm so so sorry to hear about your plight in particular. I so hope you can get to a concert! Well I'm very relieved to say that my Dad delivered for me, and boy did he deliver! :-) I've secured a really good seat, I believe, for the Sydney show on the 21st. I'm in the best part (in the front)- in section B, Row 1, Seat 14. Cost like $80 more, but when am I going to see Yusuf live again? I don't know much about the Entertainment Centre, but I looked at the map and I've got this odd feeling that I might even be in the front row! Doesn't get much better then that! I've tried to attach the map for the seats: What do you think? Am I in the front? I'm just happy I'm even going to be there!

Oh Marge I'm so sorry about missing out on a ticket. It's amazing that sold out like hot cakes!!!! I think Paul Dainty and Yusuf are really over the 'MOON' with this great response. Please don't give up, keep checking, as there will always be someone, somewhere with an extra ticket wanting to sell. There is still time, and I'm sure next month you will be in that stadium, getting not only a glimpse, but and eyefull and earfull of Yusuf and his band. ;D s271, and Paulo, very happy that you both secured a ticket. s271, you may not have the best seat, but you're in!!!! Don't worry there will be those giant video walls all around, and you will have a larger than life view of Yusuf and company. ;D I bet Margi would trade places with you in a flash. Paulo your father couldn't have delivered better than that. I think it is very clear you are front row, right under Yusufs nose so to speak. Don't forget your camera, with extra batteries just in case. Can't wait to hear all about it. We will all be counting the days with you. Suddenly I think I just came down with a very bad case of homesickness. It's been nearly eleven years. I can only think of one remedy, and you don't have to guess what that is. ;D Wishful thinking again.

There are places you can likely get tickets. You are going to pay more, but you can often get better tickets. www.getmein.com is a good place to try. I didn't see anything on there yet, but you should look everyday - you never know. Good luck!

Don't worry Margi, I know you will be lucky and get tickets, just have faith and your wish will be granted. There are so many of them for sale at the moment on Ebay, they are asking silly money for them, but I have a feeling you will manage to find just the right one!

Hi MONTYPYTHON, very happy to know you will be seeing Yusuf in Melbourne. This great city is my birthplace. The city has had many changes since I left in 1983, and the Rod Laver Arena is very new to me. I saw Cat perform in 1972 at Melbournes Festival Hall. As you probably know it wasn't the best venue for concerts, I didn't have the best seats, but wherever you sat, the the Cat had his audience captivated by his incredible performance, he bought the house down. I guarantee he will captivate you and his Melbourne audience once more. Live and enjoy every moment, as you said, "a once in a lifetime experience"
