This is not really a Catspotting experience but.... Last night I had the irresistible envy to watch the Majikat DVD, something I hadn't done in months. So I did watch it and enjoyed it more than I usually do (I'm not a big fan of that concert). When it was over and I was going to bed I peaked at the calendar and realise that we were March the 10th. Which is the anniversary date of the Majikat concert at the Montreal Forum 36 years ago. Guess I subconciously watch the show knowing.... or maybe not. Strange! Interesting coincidence, indeed, Glaucus! Oh, and I am also not big fan of that concert. It always disturbs me that the camera is looking up his nose most of the time. I listen to the audio all the time, though.

But that was more to do with the fact you mensioned the possible new DVD rather than me Subconciously thining about it ;D Your a true Catty fan

Speaking of weird coincidences, you know, sometimes I just think the universe is trying to mess with me.
I also recently saw that House episode with "Morning Has Broken" playing at the intro. I like it. If I remember right, it's the one with the millionaire businessman whose house got TP-ed.
Was shopping with my kids at Kohl's the other day. Was feeling kind of in a bad mood because they were annoying me (teenagers!), waiting for my son to try on clothes, and heard "Thinking About You" over the store speaker. I've heard it there before, but boy, I sure needed the smile right about then.
Then about a week ago I went into Subway for lunch. My day was once again not going well. Heard "Wild World" remake with (I think) Mr. Big over the store speaker. Could hardly concentrate on giving my order, I got such a big kick out of it.
And last night I started reading a novel in which the main character has a cat named Moonshadow.
It really is a wild world, isn't it? LOL

They showed "We Bought a Zoo" on the flight to LA and they played "Don't Be Shy" during one of the scenes.

Watched Michael Moore "Sicko" on the CBC late movie. I'd forgotten that "Don't Be Shy" plays at the end credits. Nice surprise. Great film too and quite timely to see.

Colin McLaughlin I believe is the guy's name. Just saw it at 11 Eastern on my CTV time shifting station from Vancouver. The cover was good. It's super nice to hear some Cat material on this type of show. I'm used to it up here but it's the first time on a US show I hear some Cat.
Thanks for the heads up.

I was watching "Watch What Happens: Live" on Bravo. Jimmy Fallon and the guys from "Guys With Kids" were the guests. If you have never seen the show, it is a 30-minute show that is mostly stupid games and nonsense, but I love it. They did a bit about a website that apparently is nothing but pictures of guys with cats, so they doctored some photos of the guests with cats, and one of them was Jimmy Fallon with Cat Stevens on his back. Kudos to Jimmy Fallon for correcting the host, Andy Cohen, that "he's Yusuf Islam now." Here is the bad photo I took of my TV screen:

That's awesome Jane! And what quick thinking on your part. Somebody was pretty talented with the "PhotoShop"...how funny! ;D Oh, I had my own "spotty" experience recently. I was watching a show the other night and during a serious part I heard the opening instrumental to "Morning Has Broken". It just kept looping that first part of the song, then moved to other music when the mood of the show changed. It brought a brief smile to my face and reminded me (even more) how much a part of our culture his music is....aaaahhh, Yusie!

Thought I would post this because only majicat members will get it. My husband and I were skiing in Utah. Made it to the top of this beautiful vista with mountains all around and snow falling. And much to my happiness "First Cut Is the Deepest" is playing from the chair lift! It was wonderful!

Amazing! Isn't it great how we all get so excited when we hear a song playing unexpectedly? It seems that life is checking in with us, somehow!
Sounds like you had a great holiday, patsymerc!
